Size: maybe 1cm
only stopped moving for me once, no zoom, just a 60mm today. Seemed about the same size as the spring azures also flying
maybe Pholisora catullus?

Duskywing?
Looks like an Erynnis species but I'm not sure it can be identified further. The white rectangles in the forewing eliminate Dreamy and Sleepy Duskywings, at least.
