When open, the wings were sort of a periwinkle blue on top. Closed, looks like grey with spots. Sorry I don't have a better photo on this one.

This genus is a mess in the eastern U.S. for species identification so moving to Celastrina genus.
Likely a Spring Azure.>

Cupido comyntas?
I believe I recall the wing having a bit of offshoot, so i think maybe a Cupido comyntas. Sorry I didn't have a better pic. Cell phone.
