This is the egg case. Looks like the nymphs hatched then shed or ate each other

Wheel Bug eggs/hatchlings

 
Their body shape and stance kinda reminded me of a wheelbug. Also, do you know what would prey on the eggs? I saw some that had holes in the sides that didn’t hatch on top, while the others hatched through the top. I know wasps prey on caterpillar eggs, but I don’t for any others.

 
Not sure what might be preying on the eggs.
Perhaps others will know.
