Beetle in remote central NV - Eleodes hirsuta

Beetle in remote central NV - Eleodes hirsuta
Reese River Valley, W slope of Toiyabe Mtn Range, Lander Cty County, Nevada, USA
April 26, 2019
Size: ¾ inch
Looked kind of dusted with fine sand grains

Moved tentatively...
"Probably Eleodes hirsuta", Andrew Johnston, pers comm. Apparently pretty common in NV.

Moved from Desert Stink Beetles.

Moved tentatively...
Moved from Darkling Beetles.

I think it's covered in setae (hairs)
like many beetles that live in sand. I wished the photo was clearer or a higher resolution

Thank you
Thank you for the ID !
Agree the photo could be better, but I only had a cell phone with me at the time, and this small beetle was moving very quickly. Next time I might have a container with me to hold the beetle in for a photo.
