Unfortunately I had to miss the transition to chrysalis. By Dec. 26 it had already happened. As of the posting date no butterfly has emerged. It has been relatively cool, with some periods of rain (blessed rain!). I wonder whether any of the four chrysalides I'm watching here will make it to adult stage.
