Wish: More photos per page for "Your Images" and 'Images submitted by'

There is probably a reason why so few thumbnails are displayed per page, but I think it would enhance the Bugguide experience if it were at least an option to see more thumbnails - similar to the number per page you see for ID requests. Maybe this would cause problems, and / or nobody thinks it's a good idea.I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Simple solution!
Go to "edit" on your image.
Add a code to the "identifier" window, and press submit.
Add the same code to all of your posts.
I use a different 5-letter code for each group of creatures, for example spiders, robberflies, etc.
The code should not be a common word, since you will retrieve all instances of the phrase.
After coding your submissions, there may be a delay of minutes, possibly hours before the system is updated.
Then to look at your images, simply enter the code in the search window. All of the photos with the same code will be displayed on a single long page.
Gayle
PS: The window probably contains the title of the entry. You need not erase this, simply add the new phrase. Multiple codes may be added. On my jumping spiders I have a code for spiders and also a code for jumping spiders, therefore I may view all spiders or jumping spiders only.
The contents of the "identifier" will appear at the upper right corner of your image, but cannot be seen by other contributors.

Oh, to have mastered the BBS techniques
Karl, thanks for weighing in on this. I always suspected that I was not the only one wishing there were more images displayed!

Gayle, and / or Jeanell yours is a brilliant solution. I did read the short feature description on the image submission page and was briefly puzzled by it. Why would it be advantageous to have a search word when there is already a link provided to all of my images? Well, as you, Karl, and I have found out, you when you have to go through more than ten pages, it becomes a long, tedious process.

Even now understanding the usefulness of the identification tagging, unfortunately it still seems not well suited for my needs. I am so new to the study of insects that my terminology, and understanding of utilitarian insect categorization is constantly changing. Yesterday's "Tiny Green and Yellow Striped Bee" is today's "Agapostemon". Throw in the fact of my bad spelling, typing, and the fact I could easily end up with a dozen pages of "dragonflies", or whatever category name I choose.

At some point I will probably try to start at least tagging my new submissions. It is a great feature for someone who knows how to use it!

Seconded
I would also love to have more images available per page. with the current layout the small amount of images I have still stretch across 19 pages. This makes it rather hard to find a particular image when wanted.

I amost deleted my comment...
...because it sounds sort of trivial. I think it has a disproportionally large effect on me because I have so many yet to be posted ID requests and am still struggling with how to organize them. Plus I have 27 pages of images at present.

I did come up with a solution that may be the answer for me. I simply did a screen capture of all 27 pages, and pasted 3 pages per layer to a 9 layer .psd image. I'm sure there are better ways to keep straight what I've posted, but this is pretty fast. I just click the layer to make 3 pages of thumbnails visible at one time. The PSD is about 13mb, no big deal.
