This looks like an Assassin bug - Acanthocephala
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
May 14, 2019
This looks like an Assassin bug on my Tomato plant, but is a darker color than the red milkweed assassin bugs I am used to seeing. Houston, TX 77031 05 14 2019. Any ideas on the ID?

Moved from ID Request.

Agree with Acanthocephala, but I won't hazard a guess at the species with such a young nymph--especially in Texas. :)

Maybe
Smeone on FB says may be ... Leaf-footed Bugs (Coreidae) » Coreinae » Acanthocephalini » Acanthocephala » Acanthocephala femorata
