Identification
"Pyroderces rileyi ... [and] P. badia can be separated in some cases by size, but more reliably by the color pattern of the hindtibia. P. rileyi has a wing length of 4.2-6.8 mm, while P. badia's is 3.5-5.4 mm. ... In P. rileyi the hindwing has a median white streak with a dorsolateral row of brown scales. In P. badia the median white streak is unicolorous. So sayeth Ron Hodges in MONA Fascicle 6.1 (1978)." [extracted from a comment by Bob Patterson]
