Paratachys pumilus - Tachys pumilus - male

Paratachys pumilus - Tachys pumilus - Male
Pulaski County, Kentucky, USA
October 8, 2002
Size: 2 to 2.25 mm
Paratachys pumilus. This is a difficult genus, but I think this is correct. Male has only one tarsi expanded, with process prolonged. Size and length of antennal segments seem to match this species better than P. oblitus.

I have taken this species at MV light.
