Western Banded Glowworm Beetle - Zarhipis integripennis
In Westwood by outdoor night light; elevation 5100ft, Lassen County, California, USA

Size: Body length 16mm
It seemed to me that this beetles plumose antennae had very fine; almost invisible, cilia between the branches. I took many photos trying to get a focused image of these cilia without success - until I placed the beetle on its back on a black book, as shown in this photo:
