ID Request - Trirhabda? - Derospidea brevicollis
1.3 miles NW of Camp Wood, Edwards County, Texas, USA
May 23, 2019
5/27/19 - Identified by Valerie Bugh who knew of the very host specific look alike species.

I collected this one from a Tickle Tongue tree that I had noticed on May 10, 2019 had been so skeletonized that I did not recognize the species until I got up close. We were leaving that day, so I went back this trip to see if I could beat it for a larva. Apparently only the adults are left since I also beat several other plants in the area and got only adults. I checked my other photos of Skeletonizing Beetles but did not find any like this that had come to my light - UNTIL last night. I am posting it as well. It does not appear to me to be the same species unless the sexes are marked differently on the abdomen.

Can this one be brought to species? I have a ventral view if needed.

I cannot find a species that is known to feed on this plant and I read that they are very species specific.
