Giant Swallowtail - Papilio cresphontes

Giant Swallowtail - Papilio cresphontes
Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA
May 27, 2019
Giant Swallowtail was resting on some plants in a small garden that has it's favorite coneflower a little later in the year. Laying eggs? Sorry for poor quality but picture was taken from a distance because they take off immediately if not nectaring.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

She would lay her eggs on citrus
Wafer ash or Prickly ash, but not on Coneflower. That would be the wrong food for her young.

Host plants
Thanks for your comments. I will be looking but don't think we have these particular trees/bushes. We do have numerous native flowering shrubs and small trees as well as vines. Do they use American bittersweet vine by any chance?
