Scaly cricket? - Neoscapteriscus abbreviatus

Scaly cricket? - Neoscapteriscus abbreviatus
Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA
May 29, 2019
Size: Approx. 2 inches.
It moved very slowly and remained on the ground and seemed to have no form of agility. I captured this at exactly 5:48 EST near freshwater lake areas. (no daylight outside with camera flash on cheap phone, sorry for quality, I didn't have much time with it, had to leave abruptly). It seems to have wings that are completely disproportionate to the mass of its body and looked as if wings were tucked behind its head and it had scaly features.
