ABSTRACT:

The original description of Cassida relicta, a species of the genus endemic to the Nearctic Region, has been until now the only published account of this species. A lectotype and paralectotypes are designated herein, and the known distribution for C. relicta is extended from Illinois to include Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Texas. A key to the Nearctic species of Cassida is given.
