Emerged.
May or may not have an association with Prairie Sage, Artemisia ludoviciana.
In an effort to rear Epiblema benignatum

set up multiple jars of sage stems, cut lower stems, cut lower stems with roots attached and in this case cut stems with roots attached surrounded by soil around which was loose organic matter (leaves mostly) to keep the roots/soil damp.
