Thank you for the ID. I am confused "Fully developed wings = adult." I remember marking this as an adult or maybe leaving that field blank but maybe I pressed the wrong button. Also, with Leps isn't it as simple as: it's an adult if it's a moth/butterfly, it's larva if it's a caterpillar/"worm"?

Yes
This is a simple concept, but sometimes (many times) I have to check this box for other people, before placing their images in the guide and so sometimes I will also leave a comment. Actions or edits must be reasoned, logical, simple and obvious.
Many of the newer users in
ID Request
are not aware of the concept of an age box and they also may not know about the browser options in
Lepidoptera
. (caterpillars-only -- vs. -- adults-only) I'm assuming that you already understand all of this.
Otherwise, some adult moths are wingless and so those might read: "Long antennae = Adult"
Every editor must verify that one of these boxes is selected on every image, before placement. Most editors will check the appropriate boxes, if needed and some of them will say something about it, sometimes. We are only trying to help.

Ahh, I see. I guess I hadn't marked the age box. I only realized it was there recently and I appreciate you explaining. I was genuinely asking to understand and I am really grateful for all the help you provide! I have learned a lot using bugguide by browsing through observations, reading comments and the info section and also when I post images that are identified.
Thanks!
