Identification
Very nice photo of a beautiful species.

That's a "Ceracis californicus" (Casey, 1884)

By the way, I have not found any of these ciids this year -- the fungus they were in last year didn't grow on the same tree or surrounding area this year -- maybe lack of early rain? They must be hiding out somewhere but I haven't found them.
