Hoplocampa? - female

Hoplocampa? - Female
Read's Landing, Wabasha County, Minnesota, USA
May 28, 2019
On the tip of a leaf in the shade under a willow tree. It sat still unlike other sawflies that I have seen. Then a smaller one showed up lower down. It rapidly ran up the stalk, met the larger one, I think face to face, then mating commenced. This is first in a series of 5 photos.
