Braconidae: Aerophilus Terrymoyeri? - Aerophilus

Braconidae: Aerophilus Terrymoyeri? - Aerophilus
Salina , Saline County, Kansas, USA
It emerged from a larva of the moth species Eucosma Gigantanea. For identification I used the Key found in "Revision of aerophilus Szepligeti (Hymnoptera, Braconidae, Agathidinae) From Eastern North America, with A Key To Nearctic Species North of Mexico" by Sharkey et al.

Aerophilus (male)…
Comment by Dr. Sharkey:

"There is no way to be sure (of the species of Aerophilus). For my revision I did not sample densely except near Lexington and Virginia. There are probably 6 species in the central and western states that are not described that might fit. Final answer... Maybe".

Thanks!
Thank you for the reply, at least now I know i'm probably on the right track.

Agathidinae (male)…
It's difficult to determine from these images whether the lobe of the second tergite is smooth or striated, but the propodeum is not melanic, possibly suggesting the species you mention. That being said, Dr. Sharkey's image (of a female) is differently colored, and he doesn't describe what a male might look like. Will ask Dr. Sharkey to comment on these images.
