Eudocima apta
Nokomis, Sarasota County, Florida, USA

Hoping someone here might recognize this moth. Unfortunately this is the only photo, but the upper surface was described as being an indistinct brown color.

Underwing Moth (false)
Unfortunately we don't have a database on the ventral images in the genus
Catocala
. Several species are available in Florida. OK, I found something else very close. (different subfamily)
