embiids - Anisembia texana - female

embiids - Anisembia texana - Female
College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA
June 12, 2019
Found these two females under 'webbed' bark on a live oak in a parking lot. Hopefully I can find a male in the same area to confirm species.

The tree on which these were found was crawling with Crematogaster ants, which webspinners can hide from underneath their webs. The only other arthropods on the tree were these bristly millipedes, which are well defended from ants
