semicaeruleum?

when IDing bees from photos
I've noticed that tomentum often looks more extensive than when viewed through the scope. I suppose the individual hairs blur together in the image.
I think its semicaeruleum (aka pruinosiforme) but further commentswould be most welcome

Halictidae.
Wow, Kerry, what a phenomenal portrait! This is a halictid bee, I am pretty confident, but not sure of the genus. Lasioglossum, perhaps?

Info appreciated
as well as the compliment. Right place, right time, and remembered to turn on the camera and flash before pushing the button. It's getting difficult to resist the urge to access the Zoological Record and track down reprints. Now it seems important to learn more about Lasioglossum; species, ranges, morphology, credit history, etc.
