ID conflict
There is something I do not get here: This image and another one that I posted yesterday (see below) have both been identified as Anoplodera pubera (I'm assuming Anoplodera pubera and Strangalepta pubera refer to the same taxon), even though they look very different to me. For instance, check the shape of the thorax, the relative size of head and body, the length of the antenna articles. This is puzzling. Any thoughts?
