Holochroa dissociarius is the only member of the genus in America north of Mexico. (1)
Two subspecies:
Holochroa dissociarius dissociarius Arizona
Holochroa d. varia New Mexico, Texas
Powell and Opler (2009) listed the forewing length as 15-21 mm.(2)
Arizona to Colorado and Texas; Mexico. (3), (4), (2)
The main flight period is March to October.(2)

At least two broods.
Powell and Opler (2009) stated the larval host is unknown.(2)
