Gold-Hunter's ?
El Cariso Village, Orange County, California, USA
June 19, 2019
This is the Best I Can Do with out Damaging the wings to much, Released after Photo's it lost some scales and looked more brown after but flew just fine. Near Huge Inland Live Oaks staying on Buckwheat unless disturbed some were much more wary than others! Saw three or four of these all very Close to Oaks in grassy area with pines and Oaks! I will Submit Ventral side next! Before Handling and I guess also after handling. the Round Dot near leading edge I have always read is A scent Gland? Guessing this is a male!
