Clearwing fly/bee? - Xenox tigrinus

Size: Approx. 19-20mm
Flew a lot like a bee, hovering back and forth, eventually landing on a plant with dried blossoms, seemed to be resting, was completely still. Really beautiful insect!

Bee parasite
This fly is a parasite of carpenter bees.
