Posted to add genus & sp. to BugGuide. Where are nice live specimen pictures from the regions in CA where these are easily obtained?

Keyed to genus in Chapter 4, Agaonidae by Zdenek Bouček in:(1).
One introduced species in Blastophaga = B. psenes in USA (CA, AZ) (Agaoninae).

Head
-- Shape nearly square, not long.
-- Antennal scape irregularly broadened with pedicel hardly moveable.
-- 3rd segment with an acuminate projection.
-- Flagellum segments with distinct setae at apex.
-- Mandibular appendage with transversely arcuate laminae.
-- Mandibular appendages seen from the side appear serrate.
-- Mandibular appendages shorter than width of head.

Thorax
-- Front and hind tibia very short compared to the femur.
-- Front and hind femora much thicker than middle femur.
Wings
