Destructive Inchworm Caterpillars - Macaria ribearia

Destructive Inchworm Caterpillars - Macaria ribearia
Morris T Chernesky Park, Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada
June 26, 2019
There were Thousands of these green and yellow spotted inchworms at Morris T Chernesky park. This one was on the seabuckthorn bushes right beside the East end of the Soccer Pitches in front on the Shaw Civic Centre - the shrubs still had some leaves. On the West side of the pitches they had already stripped the vegetation bare and were a massive army crawling around the grass and ground seeking more trees.
