Rainbow Scarab - Phanaeus vindex - Phanaeus difformis

Size: aprox 1" (estimated)
Found with pronghorn dung. Pawnee National Grassland. After photo was taken it went into the dung and did not reappear. I believe it to be Rainbow Scarab - Phanaeus vindex. It has a very small horn, barely visible in the photos.
