Geometrid - Caripeta triangulata - female

Geometrid - Caripeta triangulata - Female
8 mi. SW of Wimberley, Comal County, Texas, USA
February 4, 2008
Size: 37mm wingspan
At incandescent light. HW lighter with spot, but no continuing line. I'm thinking this may be a SW moth in the dimorphic Antepione or Synaxis genus. #6957W looks as close as I can get.

Synaxis
I'd say you're probably right, or incredibly close, with the ID of Synaxis triangulata. I'm going to doublecheck later.

agreed
Looking at 6957W -- Synaxis triangulata on the MPG site, it looks to be correct. There is no page for it yet here on BG as far as I could see.
