Not Monobia.
This is not a species of Monobia. It should be a female of Ancistrocerus unifasciatus, but you might wait for a second opinion.

I agree
This has to be a female Ancistrocerus unifasciatus. Despite global warming, Monobia quadridens doesn't (yet) exist so far North.
Thistle (Cirsium or Carduus sp.)flowers are an uncommon nectar source for most Eumenine wasps.

In Canada, A. unifasciatus was previously only known from Ontario and Quebec. Nice new record!
