Pirate with a bite? - Orius insidiosus

Pirate with a bite? - Orius insidiosus
Rich Mountain, Le Flore County, Oklahoma, USA
September 1, 2007
We stopped along Talimena Scenic Drive on Rich Mountain to take in the view. It didn't last long. The air was filled with these tiny guys/gals. They had my mother and wife hopping mad before they had taken 10 steps. Didn't leave any marks but their bite stung like acid as soon as they landed.

Are they pirate bugs or have I missed the mark?

Thanks
