black plant bug - Slaterocoris atritibialis

black plant bug - Slaterocoris atritibialis
Athol, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
June 11, 2006
Any help getting further on identification appreciated.

Slaterocoris atritibialis (Knight, 1938) -- M.D. Schwartz det.
"...but could also be Slaterocoris stygicus (Say, 1832), give me a dissection any day. (From the couch watching the Series.)"

Moved from Slaterocoris.

Thanks Wongun
It's a new genus for the guide.

I'd like to vote for Slaterocoris in Orthotylinae...
In particular, the convex posterior margin of the pronotum leads to it. ^^

What is this Capsus-like bug?
It may not be a Capsus. Then, what???

Good question
I wish I had the answer:-(
