Empoa aureotecta
question about change from
E. russeola
- iNat lists
E. aureotecta
as a synonym for
E. saffrana
. where did that come from?
edit: I just commissioned a taxonomy change on iNat

no idea
not everything on iNat is correct
http://dmitriev.speciesfile.org/taxahelp.asp?hc=18476&key=Erythroneura&lng=En
Edit: in MOST cases, the taxonomy on Bugguide for the leafhopper and planthoppers is accurate. MOST cases, especially for eastern taxa. I've made sure about this. There are a handful of cases in the East where the taxonomy is not necessarily up to date, but I have reasons for that.
