Size: Approx. 25 mm
Found inside my house. Surrounding habitat was forest, mostly aspen and spruce. Also lots of ferns nearby, especially cinnamon fern.

It's possible, but..
...we'd need an expert to weigh in--especially since the larva wasn't found on its host plant.

This Selandriinae larva. Most Selandriinae larvae feeds ferns.


 
Thank you. I do have lots of ferns
on my property, especially cinnamon fern.
