Epimartyria bimaculella?

A difficult specimen to photograph (even if it does seem to be an ex-specimen). It appeared very dark if not solid black sitting on a sword fern so in that sense, these images do not do it justice. Its metallic sheen wrecks havoc with the flash and I'm posting a few extra shots to highlight that. As a moss eater, it must be very West Coast.

I was approx. 3 km south of the north end of the lake just above the road in Douglas fir/cedar/Devils Club forest. Also, the specimen was 25-30 m from the drainage stream coming down the mountain.

Agree on Epimartyria bimaculella.
Rare in BC but known from the Lower Mainland.
