Moved from Odorous Ants.

Dorymyrmex insanus
This is a winged female of Dorymyrmex insanus, a common western US species, especially in sandy or other well-drained soils. In the mild, but summer-dry climate of southern California, they fly in warm, sunny spells during the winter rainy season.

Odorous Ant (Dolichoderinae) - winged female
Swarming time of this species is especially early in the year. Overall habitus and color suggest Dorymyrmex sp., maybe D. insanus. But a confirmation by an expert is needed.
