Orsillinae plant bug - native?
Is there a recommendation for a university or other institution that could I.D. this plant bug's species - either through a vial sample or through the high-resolution image uploaded by Gary D. Alpert? If it is not native, I will want to find out if it is an introduced bio-control on Onopordum acanthium (Scotch thistle--a highly invasive species in the Colorado Plateau region). For that possible next step, is there an APHIS lab you know of that could help identify the specimen or photo?

...one of BugGuide's experts will eventually provide a species ID. In the meantime, you're certainly free to ask any local experts you might know to have a look at the photo. I don't have any recommendations for you, unfortunately.
