Size: 1.9 mm
Is this Aridius australicus? It is clearly not nodifer, but I think bifasciatus should have more spots like the ones pictured in BugGuide. Some discussion on a German website makes it sound like australicus is all one color - yellow.

Thanks Boris. Several references mentioned A. australicus as being down in that area, but I didn't yet come up with a description. Eventually...

Confirmation
that it is neither nodi*fer nor bi*fasciatus. The form of the pronotum is different, too. I have never seen austr*alicus, however.
