This was awaiting us on our bed when we checked in to our hotel. 18th floor in Myrtle Beach on the beach. It did not move quickly but the antennas were moving a lot. The front desk said not to worry. I’m from NY and we sure don’t have these bugs where I live!

Thank you for identifying so quickly! I am sure glad I haven’t come across one in NY! Other than the water bugs in NYC this was one of the biggest I’ve seen.
