Aphids identified by Natalie Hernandez, entomologist and aphid specialist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), as Woolly Maple Aphids, Neoprociphilus aceris. And the host plant has been identified as bristly greenbrier, Smilax tamnoides, by Amy Buthod of the University of Oklahoma.
