I think this may be Microtheoris ophionalis, attracted to light.

You are correct. You are posting some wonderful photographs. I am not qualified to help you but I am going to ask Libby Avis who at least has West Coast experience to review your submissions. She is quite knowledgeable and curates for museums in her area.
