Wolfden Lake Mothapalooza 2019

Mothapalooza 2019
Hi Marcia,

As we were looking up photos to ID our Tulip-tree Silkmoth, we discovered your photo and realized that you were also at Mothapalooza. Sorry we missed you! We were very impressed with all of the silkmoths. We stayed in the cabin area where there were lots of lights and sheets set up. Maybe we'll see you at the next Mothapalooza.

How fun!
I'm sorry I missed you, too. I set up some lights at Wolfden Lake the first night and Buzzard's Roost the second. I didn't make it over to the cabins because I was "manning" sheets elsewhere. I am heading to Louisiana next week, though … if you are attending that, our paths will cross.

Mothapalooza 2019
We didn't make it to Wolfden Lake or Buzzard's Roost. We stayed mostly around the cabin area, the lodge and the nature center. I wonder how different the moths were? Next time we'll have to venture farther away. We're not going to the BugGuide Gathering. It'll be interesting to see the pnotos from there. Have fun!
