Green Beetle of some kind - Leptinotarsa haldemani

Green Beetle of some kind - Leptinotarsa haldemani
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
April 13, 2007
Size: Approx. 1 cm
This should be easy. I've checked several guides, but nothing seems to match exactly.

Suspect.
I suspect this is a species of Leptinotarsa. Yes, they do get that gaudy:-) Do wait for specialists to chime in before moving this one, though.

Leptinotarsa haldemani
I agree with Eric, probably L. haldemani

You guys nailed it again
I found another photo online from Austin that looks just like the bug.

Thanks for the assistance.
