Beauty!
Great image, as usual:-)

Thanks for the comment and ID
That was super fast! I had barely uploaded the image, and it was gone from the ID request zone!

Another beauty!
... but let's not forget those less fortunate ground beetles that do not have such distinctive shape and color patterns as this one and some other species you recently posted. A uniformly black Pterostichus or a confusingly bronzy Amara should also be entitled to reap the benefits of your excellent automontage technique.

I could not agree more
but this will come with time. Not for Carabidae, though, as I only have 2 or 3 Nearctic species mounted, but for LBBs (little brown beetles) which are generally ignored by most entomologists.

Ha, ha!
I IDed it for you eight months ago on flickr.com :-)

All my apologies, Jim
You know, when I uploaded this picture on BugGuide, I knew someone had given me the name of this critter but was unable to find out who and where! Now, I know, sorry for the redundancy.

Rats!
Now I suppose I must apologize next time I do something similar. Don Chandler is always re-identifying stuff for me.
