Stamnodes marmorata? - Stamnodes marmorata

Stamnodes marmorata? - Stamnodes marmorata
Eastern Sierra, Mono County, California, USA
June 16, 2019
~7100' elevation, Rattlesnake Grade.
Attracted to porch light.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

This species and Stamnodes watsoni are nearly identical looking and there is really no way to reliably separate them in most images. We might have to place these into a species complex, eventually.

Stamnodes
Tanner Matson, grad student @ UCONN is studying Stamnodes so more info at some point will be forthcoming.
