Many-spotted Dichomeris - Dichomeris punctipennella

Many-spotted Dichomeris - Dichomeris punctipennella
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
July 15, 2019
ID from Aaron Hunt. Unusual color, however!

Moved
Moved from Spotted Dichomeris. Nope, just an average punctipennella. My latest data for punctidiscella over the last two years is 3 July(1). I must have not looked closely at this one or else misspoken. Speaking of phenology, I've copied my notes from the summer into a new unformatted Google Doc, one line per sighting. Last year's was 88 pages of over 2500 datapoint and took several hours to copy into the sighting table. This year's is 174 pages and doesn't include my handwritten notes from the Scout Camp last week. I have my work cut out for me!
