Size: small (sweat bee size)
Red sweat bee, assume this is a Halictidae and would love to know the Genus or Species. Found in a stand of Mountain Mint in our side yard that was covered in bees.

To show 'just the bug' if you can. To identify the green sweat bees, there are a handful of characters that must be seen at pretty close range. It is probably something like Augochlorella aurata (there is a lot of variability in the metallic coloration) but it is difficult to tell without a clear view of the face or wings.

Thank You!
Thanks, Molly! These were the best shots I had, hard to get the little things to hold still.
