Hyperaspis pistillata - male

Hyperaspis pistillata - Male
Webster Village, Harford County, Maryland, USA
June 23, 2019
Size: 3.5 mm
Tiny lady beetle found on leaf of young Tulip Poplar tree (Liriodendron tulipifera). I suspected it was either Hyperaspis signata or H. binotata; however Brad Barnd identified this as a male H. pistillata based on genitalic dissection.
