This tiny parasitoid emerged from a pupa collected from Muhly Grass (also called sweetgrass) which was infested with mealy bugs, Stemmatomerinx acircula.

This is a member ...
... of the family Encyrtidae. Many species of encyrtids are parasitoids of mealybugs, but then there are some that act as hyperparasitoids as well. The image is not clear enough for me to tell for certain, but it is reminiscent of the genus Prochiloneurus.

... I think this is Prochiloneurus.
